Your data, deleting your workspace or leaving a team

Downloading everything your business holds, what deleting your business does, the 30-day window, and how leaving or declining a team works.

Downloading your data

Settings → Danger zone → Your data downloads what Schedulign holds for your business, as one file or one list at a time:

  • Everything (JSON) — one file with the business and its members; every event with its prices, hosts, hours, questions, locations and policies; your saved schedules; waivers and their signatures; client groups and blocked addresses; the contact book with its labels, notes and custom fields; everyone who gets openings notifications and every waitlist place, ended ones included; and every booking with its participants, form answers and notes. Passwords, sign-in and link tokens, and Stripe and Google ids are left out; a card saved for a waitlist place shows only as its brand and last four digits.
  • Bookings (CSV) — one row per booking: the time, event, host (Any available for a request that has no host yet), client, participants, price, tax and tip in US dollars, how it is paid in the Bookings tab's words, such as Paid online or Due offline (a canceled, declined, expired or no-show booking that was never paid reads Not paid), the cancellation fee, location and form answers.
  • Contacts (CSV) — one row per client email address in your bookings: name, phone, bookings, cancellations, the last session and what they have paid to date.
  • Events (CSV) — one row per event: its link, whether it is live, its host (on a team, every host and the event's Assignment), location type, approval, how clients pay, prices and description.

Only you can download everything. An admin downloads the three lists from Settings → Your data; members download nothing. A business can download 6 files an hour. Download before you delete: once the business is deleted, nothing can be downloaded.

Deleting your business

Settings → Danger zone asks you to type your business's name. On confirmation your page goes offline immediately, sign-ins to it end, and the data is permanently erased 30 days later. Within those 30 days, email admin@schedulign.com and it can be restored. An active subscription is canceled at once. Only the owner can delete the business.

Everyone still waiting on one of your waitlists is taken off it and emailed that it ended, and any card they saved for it is removed; before you confirm, the Danger zone says how many people that is. A time already held for someone while they pay keeps its booking.

Deleting cancels and refunds nothing. Each client with an upcoming session, or a request you haven't answered, is emailed once from Schedulign that your business is no longer on Schedulign and to contact you directly. The email lists their sessions with you, names the contact details each event showed them, and says the links in earlier emails no longer work. Before you confirm, the Danger zone says how many clients that is. To cancel or refund a session, do it in Bookings before you delete.

If you also belong to teams, your sign-in continues to work for them; deleting your business never touches a team.

Leaving a team

From the team's member page, Leave this team ends your membership: events you host alone there go Not live until another host is chosen, you come off the host list of events you share, your upcoming sessions stay on the team's books, and the business is emailed. People waiting for times on the events that go Not live, and people waiting for you by name on the events you share, are taken off the waitlist and emailed; before you confirm, every Leave says how many. Your individual dashboard, its events and other teams are untouched. From your individual dashboard, Settings → Profile → Teams offers the same Leave on each team.

An admin leaves from the bottom of the business's Team tab, or from their own dashboard under Settings → Profile → Teams.

Declining an invitation

Decline on the invitation card or in Settings → Profile → Teams removes the invitation. The team can invite you again any time.
