Free, Pro and Teams

What each plan includes, how the Free plan's weekly limit works, and how to switch.

The three plans

  • Free — everything in Pro except the bulletin board, up to 5 bookings a week, with a "Powered by Schedulign" line on your page.
  • Pro — no weekly limit, the bulletin board (see The bulletin board), and you can turn the "Powered by Schedulign" line off. Regular price $20 a month.
  • Teams — Pro for an organization: invite hosts by email, one booking page for the whole team, per-host hours, days off and calendars, and seats as you grow.

Card payments from your clients carry Stripe's standard processing fee; Schedulign adds nothing on top.

Early access ended on September 27, 2026, and Pro and Teams are on sale. Every new account starts on Free and buys a paid plan from the plan card in Settings → Plan & billing. An account created before September 28, 2026 keeps its plan free for 30 days after that, to midnight UTC on October 28, 2026 — the plan card names the day and time in your business's time zone (5:00 PM on October 27 on the US West Coast). To keep the plan after it, press Subscribe to keep Pro (or Subscribe to keep Teams) on the plan card before then; otherwise the account moves to Free once the date passes.

A complimentary plan, granted by Schedulign, bills nothing and needs no subscription. It lasts until you switch to Free or Schedulign ends it; when Schedulign ends it, you get an email.

Monthly or annual

Pro and Teams bill monthly or yearly. Annual costs 10% less than twelve months: Pro is $216 a year, and each member seat $108 a year. Choose Monthly or Annual above the plans in Settings → Plan & billing before you subscribe. Once you're subscribed, Switch to annual billing (or Switch to monthly billing) there moves the whole subscription, member seats included: Stripe credits the unused part of the current period and bills the new one at once. A promotion code, if you have one, goes in at checkout under Add promotion code.

The Free plan's weekly limit

The Free plan counts bookings in Sun–Sat weeks in your workspace's time zone, across every host on the page. Once a week holds 5 bookings, that week offers clients no times; the next week opens as normal. Bookings you add yourself from the Bookings tab count too but are never refused. The sidebar shows how many are left this week.

Switching plans

Settings → Plan & billing shows the three plans side by side with your current one marked. An upgrade goes through a secure Stripe checkout. On a subscription or a complimentary plan, Pro and Teams switch between each other in place. Leaving a subscription means canceling under Manage billing (the plan ends at the end of the billing period); while an early-access plan is still free, or on a complimentary plan, Switch to Free on the plan card leaves at once. Nothing about your page changes except the plan's own rules. The "Powered by Schedulign" line stays after an upgrade or a complimentary plan until you turn it off in Settings → Branding. Leaving Teams is refused while team members remain, so remove their access first.

Only the owner sees Settings → Plan & billing; an admin never changes the plan.

Teams and seats

A seat is a team member clients can book. Pending invitations and members switched to Not bookable cost nothing. On a Teams subscription, member seats are billed with your plan, monthly or yearly, at the price shown in Plan & billing; your own seat is included. Seats an admin switches on are billed to the owner.

When a paid plan ends

If a subscription lapses, the workspace returns to Free: the weekly limit comes back, the "Powered by Schedulign" line shows again, and you get an email. Nothing is deleted. On Teams, every member's seat switches off and each member is emailed; people waiting on a waitlist for one of them by name, or for an event only members host, are taken off it and emailed. Once you subscribe again, switch seats back on from the Team tab, and turn the line off again in Settings → Branding if you want it gone.
