The bulletin board
How to post updates about your business and your events for everyone on your booking page, who can post on a team, how clients open Updates from the tab at the side of the page or from an event, how reactions work without replies, pinning, and why it needs Pro or Teams.
The bulletin board is where you post updates for everyone who visits your booking page: a change of venue, a new event, a holiday week. Clients read the posts and react to them; nobody can reply.
Posting
Open Bulletin board in the dashboard's sidebar. Write the post (up to 1,000 characters; the count under the box says how many you have used), choose About an event if it concerns one, and press Post. It shows on your booking page at once. Links you paste become links clients can open in a new tab; line breaks are kept, and nothing else is formatted.
Under Posts, each post shows its date, the event it is about and how many of each reaction it has. Edit, on the posts you wrote, changes the words and the event; a post whose words changed says "edited" beside its date. Delete asks once beside the post, and the post leaves your page at once.
Pinning
Check Pin to the top as you post, or press Pin on a post, to keep it above newer ones. Up to 3 posts are pinned at a time; to pin a fourth, unpin one first. Unpin puts a post back in date order.
What clients see
Your business page and every event page show a slim tab at the right edge of the page, Updates, with a small count of the posts that are new since that browser last opened it. The page is otherwise unchanged. A tap slides the updates out from the side; the tab again, the ✕ or the Escape key hides them. The tab shows only while the board has a post.
Every event card on your business page has its own Updates door, and the tab on an event's page opens on that event too: its posts first, with All updates one tap away. An event with no posts opens on all of them, with one line saying there are none about it yet. A post about an event links to it while the event is live on your page; a link-only event, or one that is not live, is not named.
The website widget does not show the board.
Reactions, not replies
Under each post are four reactions: 👍 ❤️ 🎉 🙏. Anyone on the page can tap one to add it and tap it again to take it back, without signing in. The counts are anonymous: Schedulign keeps the numbers only, and the visitor's own browser remembers what it gave. There are no replies or comments.
On a team
You and your admins can always post, pin any post and remove any post. Posts by the owner and admins are signed with the business's name. A member posts only when their card under Team has Post to the bulletin board checked; it is off for every member until you check it. Their posts are signed with their first name and the business, they can edit and remove their own posts, and they write from Bulletin board on their page with the team. Nobody is emailed about a post.
Plans
The bulletin board is part of Pro and Teams. On Free, the tab explains this and links to Settings → Plan & billing, and nothing shows on your pages. If a paid plan ends, the board leaves your pages and your posts are kept; they show again once you are back on Pro or Teams.
