Durations, group sizes and prices
Lengths, group sizes, the pricing grid, free sessions, peak and discount pricing windows, and add-ons.
Durations
In the Duration section add every length you offer, in minutes or hours. Default picks which one the booking page starts on: the shortest or a named length. A length longer than your longest availability window can never be booked; the editor warns you.
Group sizes
In Pricing, set the smallest and largest number of participants you take. A one-to-one session is 1 to 1. Clients choose the size on the booking page and name the other participants at booking.
The grid
The grid has one cell per group size and length. Each cell is the total price for that group at that length, in US dollars.
- A blank cell means that combination isn't offered; the booking page never shows it.
- 0 makes it free.
- Fill the whole grid from one price takes a base price, a price for each extra person, and a rule for longer sessions, and fills every cell. Edit any cell afterwards.
Prices are locked into a booking at the moment it is made. Changing the grid later never changes what an existing booking costs.
Lengths without prices
Lengths belong to the event, prices are optional. With some cells priced, only those lengths are offered. With no prices at all, every length is offered and the booking page shows no price: clients book, nothing is charged, and the booking is marked No price listed (not free) until you Mark paid offline. Put your rates in the description if you want them read before booking.
Peak and discount pricing
Below the grid, Peak and discount pricing adds windows that change every price on the event. + Add a peak window raises prices, for busy evenings or weekends; + Add a discount window lowers them, for quiet mornings or an early-bird rate. Each window has a name clients see (Peak, Early bird, anything you like), Raise by or Lower by a percentage or a dollar amount, the days of the week, the hours, and an optional date range. Windows may not overlap.
Clients see the effect before they choose: peak times are shaded amber and discounts lime, each with its adjusted price and a legend naming the window. The same price follows an unlisted-time request.
Add-ons
Under the grid, Add-ons lists extras a client can tick while booking, such as hot stones on a massage or a glitter finish on nails. An add-on changes the price, never the length of the session: an extra that needs more time belongs in its own event, or in a longer length of this one.
+ Add an add-on gives it a name, an optional description clients see under the name, and its own price grid, the same shape as the event's: one box per length and group size. Price each combination separately, so hot stones can cost less on a 60-minute session than on a 90-minute one, and a two-person booking can cost more than a one-person booking. A blank box means the add-on isn't offered for that length and group size. Same price for every length and group size fills every box from one amount. Nothing is saved until Save changes, and ✕ removes an add-on. An add-on that bookings already used is kept on those bookings.
What clients see: on the details step of your booking page, the add-ons offered for the length and group size they picked appear as checkboxes with their prices (Hot stones · +$20.00), and the total beside the form updates as they tick them. The add-ons ride along on a request and on a place on the waitlist for a time the same way: the place's total includes them, and it is never charged more than that total when the time opens.
How the money works:
- A peak or discount window changes the session's price only; an add-on keeps its listed price at any time.
- Discount codes at checkout and tips apply to the whole total, add-ons included, and sales tax is charged on add-ons as on the session.
- Online, Stripe's page lists each add-on on its own line. Offline, the confirmation names each add-on with its price inside the total.
- An event with no prices listed can still have add-ons. A client who ticks one pays only for the add-ons; a client who ticks none books with no price listed, as before.
Every booking keeps the add-ons it was made with, by name and price: the confirmation, the client's booking link, the emails, the Bookings row and the bookings export (its Add-ons column) all list them. A reschedule keeps them. Add-ons can't be changed after booking; to add or remove one, note it on the booking, or the client books again.
